Les fragments, lentement, rejoignent la mer. Certains se disloqueront en une multitude de blocs, qui viendront ensuite s’échouer sur la plage de sable noir toute proche.
Un spectacle, qui, en plus d’être magnifique, prend rapidement une dimension dramatique.

Enormous or tiny, turquoise or white, blackened by volcanic ash, ice fragments of Jökulsárlón,
the "glacier lagoon", hypnotizing and impressive.
For more than 70 years, these fragments have come from the Vatnajökull, the largest glacier in Europe.
Inexorably, this Icelandic glacier melts and recedes. The lagoon thus created and the blocks and derivatives are irrefutable proof of this.
The fragments, slowly, rejoice the sea. Some will dislocate in a multitude of blocks,
which will then run aground on the beach of black sand nearby.
A spectacle that, in addition to being magnificent, quickly takes on a dramatic dimension.
